FordHaven supports families to overcome and work through separation difficulties and encourages healthier relationships. Sibling relationships are at the forefront of what we do.
We offer time to families in a supportive environment that is neutral and independent of other agencies. We provide a safe, warm and welcoming space for separated siblings and family members to spend quality time with each other in a setting created with them in mind.
Families have sole use of the space at FordHaven during each visit.
Sessions require prebooking and are available seven days a week.
**Service and Price list available on request.

There are many reasons children are home educated, for some families this is a clear choice as an alternative to school education. For others the families are aiming to integrate children into more suitable learning environments.
FordHaven aims to enable children and young people to socialise and learn through play and art. This can make for an easier transition into their next steps.
All our activities are offered in small group sessions to maximise the benefit of time spent at FordHaven for each child. We've set up these sessions as we are aware of the needs of children in the above circumstances, as well as those who are Home Educated. Its important to be able visit a different place and vary their child's experiences.
Our sessions include activities varying from baking, clay modelling, crockery painting to other arts & crafts. As well as the opportunity to play board games, outdoor games, read books and free play with toys should they wish to do so.
Sessions are currently on Wednesdays from 9.30am -11.30am for ages 5 - 9 and 1pm - 4pm for ages 10 -16.
We currently offer up to 6 places per session - the desire is to keep the quality of the sessions at a high standard.
The cost is £5 per hour, per session. Bookable in advance.
Summer 2024 we embarked on running our pilot Holiday Club funded by Happy Healthy Holidays - Somerset. It was a great success and we are going to continue offering this popular provision in Glastonbury.
Our club provides spaces for eligible families i.e,, in receipt of Pupil Premium or Free School Meals, which are bookable via Playwaze - see the link below.
We offer a stable and nurturing environment for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Activities we offer vary from cooking, art, crafting, sports, and mindfulness.
Lunch & Snacks are provided.
We offer a few private places - please contact us for more info - holidayclub@fordhaven.org
We work with schools as an additional resource to enable children who find their education setting a challenge, the opportunity to spend time at FordHaven and take part in all that we have to offer.
FordHaven School Support offers children, regular and planned time out of their school setting. In conjunction with the school an individualised plan to meet the needs of each child will be developed and reviewed.
Evidence shows that recalibrating in a different environment can help children to achieve their potential when in school.
